Independent Prescriber's Needed

Well, there are lots of practitioners who want to enter the field of aesthetics, but are too frightened by the regulations to take the leap. The main concern comes from the need to have an Independent Prescriber to prescribe Botulinum Toxin A, which some of our customers don't even realise is a prescription only drug.

Like any business, we should realise that when we don't have a certain skill, either we can learn how to gain that skill or we can outsource that skill to others. So I've decided to create a more comprehensive list of Independent Prescribers for the practitioners who don't currently prescribe. There's no shame in not being a prescriber. We've all been there! I just want to help the delegates who come through, and if you can provide the service, I'll put your name on the list that I'll distribute to our delegates. If they contact you, then that service is between you and the practitioner. Easy!

Nurse Prescribing

Good news for BACN members who are not nurse prescribers yet, because there is the possibility that a lucky member can receive funding from the BACN to do their prescribing course. So if you're not a member, then now's a good time join!
